BOZEMAN, MT (August 29, 2019). Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is pleased to announce that American Airlines will introduce non-stop seasonal service to three additional destinations for the summer of 2020. In addition to year-round daily service to Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) and winter and summer daily service to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), American will add daily summer service to Los Angeles (LAX), Saturday-only summer service to New York LaGuardia (LGA), and Montana’s first service to the state of Pennsylvania with Saturday only summer service to Philadelphia (PHL).
“We are pleased to see Americans continue their expansion at Bozeman. This new service will connect BZN to even more of the American Airlines network on both the West Coast and the East Coast,” said Brian Sprenger, Airport Director. These non-stop flights provide easy passenger access to/from five American hubs with convenient connections throughout America’s worldwide network, including recently announced service to Casablanca, Morocco, and Reykjavik, Iceland from PHL. Overall, American Airlines will add nearly 30% more seats into BZN for summer 2020 compared to summer 2019.
“National parks are a huge attraction for many families,” said Vasu Raja, Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning. “As soon as school’s out next year, our customers will have more than 145 weekly flights to/from Montana to choose from.”
American will operate flights to Los Angeles (LAX) using 76-seat Embraer E175 aircraft from June 4, 2020, through September 8, 2020. New York (LGA) and Philadelphia (PHL) flights will operate with 160-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Saturdays from June 6, 2020 through September 5, 2020.
